Cushion Testing for Medicare Code Compliance

• One of four US facilities providing testing for Medicare cushion code compliance.
• Testing can be completed using the Simulation method or using the Human Subjects method.

 

Durability Testing

• Durability testing to meet the simulated use requirements for Medicare code compliance testing is performed in our in-house testing facility.
• Additional testing for durability testing and long term environmental exposure is available to meet all manufacturing and marketing needs.

Design Assistance

• Testing often reveals problems or identifies opportunities for product improvement. Design input is available as needed

 

Pressure Mapping Studies

• As one of the test facilities for code compliance, we are fully prepared to conduct human subject testing as outlined in the Medicare guidelines.
• Pressure mapping and human subject testing for manufacturing and marketing needs.

 

Mattress Testing

• Working through RESNA, NPUAP, and ISO, we are currently involved in the development of national and international standards for support surfaces (mattresses).

 

Wheelchair Seating Standards

• We have been involved in the creation of international standards for wheelchair seating since work began in the late 90s’. Allen is currently the Chair of the US working group on wheelchair seating standards. Participation in the development of tests for seating standards puts Central Coast Testing on the cutting edge of this work.
